Open the Understanding Money budget planner (Microsoft Excel, 104kb) and type in your income and expenses. The items we've used are just suggestions. Feel free to change them or add new ones if you need to.
The budget planner will work out your total income and expenses, and you'll get an idea of where your money goes, and where you could make changes.
